Welcome to the Van Buren Recycling Center page, dedicated to providing convenient and environmentally responsible recycling services to the residents of Van Buren and T17R3, Maine. Our facility plays a vital role in reducing waste, conserving resources, and promoting sustainability within our community.

The Van Buren Recycling Center is committed to making the recycling process easy and efficient for residents. Our knowledgeable staff is on hand to assist with sorting and proper disposal of recyclable materials, as well as answering any questions about recycling guidelines and accepted materials.

Hours of Operation:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
• Closed Sunday, Monday, and Thursday

Please note: For recognized holidays that fall on a Monday, the recycling center will be closed on that Monday, as well as on Tuesday.

• Acceptance of a wide variety of recyclable materials, including paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, metal, and more
• Proper disposal of household hazardous waste, electronics, and other special items
• Assistance with sorting and preparing materials for recycling
