Hamlin, Maine

Named after a former governor of the State of Maine, this small town runs along the St. John River. Also famous for its potato growers, Hamlin is the community that stretches the furthest east on the United States side of the St. John Valley.

Hamlin is home to an International Border Crossing with Grand Falls, New Brunswick and just minutes away from the spectacular falls that lends the community its name. The historic Roosevelt one-room schoolhouse can also be found in Hamlin right along Route 1-A.
